RESPONSIBILITIES

The Geographic Information unit is seeking an information developer interested in developing our operations.

We within the Geographic Information unit are responsible for collecting, managing, and developing Lantmäteriet's geographic information in image and height, within topographic information, and fulfilling Lantmäteriet's authority assignments regarding place names and map and image confidentiality.

As an information developer with us, you will start from our function unit coordination and the information architecture team, whose mission is to support, drive, hold together, and be a resource for the unit's business development and information architecture work. We do this by analyzing the need for development together with the business and developing solutions to improve our operations towards our set goals.

Your tasks will consist of both independent work and participation in various projects and assignments.

The location for this position is at one of our offices in Gävle, Luleå, or Karlskrona.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a degree from a university or college in computer science, systems science, information technology, or other programs in information science and/or experience working with information in an IT environment or other education/experience deemed equivalent.

The tasks require good competence in the field of information architecture (information models, specifications, standards, guidelines, and regulations) as well as associated tools.

It is an advantage if you have experience with geodata and have worked with geographic information. It is also beneficial if you have education or experience in project management.
